Redeemer

Jesus' followers most likely spent this Sabbath day in grief and confusion. Their friend and Messiah was dead. They had heard the plan of redemption, but they did not yet understand. What a blessed day it is to know with full assurance of understanding the mystery of Christ. Meditate on Jesus as our Redeemer - He who has conquered sin and death. With one voice we glorify His holy name!

Reading: Matthew 27:62-66

Idea: Have a special time of worship today. Choose a few of your favorite thanksgiving and praise passages of scripture to speak or sing aloud. Reflect on God's work of redemption in your life and give Him thanks!
