October is Pastor Appreciation Month! As a church family, we are abundantly blessed with a gifted and caring pastoral staff who serve us faithfully. Let’s show them our love and gratitude by dropping a card or note in the box at the Info Table or the church office. Your words of thanks and encouragement will be a blessing and a reminder of how much they mean to us.

HOMELESS OUTREACH DONATIONS

We are collecting donations for our Homeless Outreach Go Team during the month of October. Several times a month, our Go Team distributes needed practical items to the homeless in our community. We are in need of the following donations on an ongoing basis: large 1-gallon ziplock bags, toothpaste & toothbrushes, socks, travel size hand sanitizer, small package of wipes, deodorant, soft protein bars, bottled water, chapstick, bandaids & small packets of first aid ointment, backpacks, hand warmers, gloves, warm jackets & sweatshirts in good condition, and small blankets. Pick up a card with a list of needed items and drop off all donations at the collection bins at the north side of the foyer. NWC’s Evangelism Outreach ministry is hosting a 1.5-hour training session where we will explore the core beliefs of Islam, how they compare with the Christian faith, and how to respond to common questions or objections from a Muslim with clarity and kindness. We’ll also look at practical ways to share the gospel with our Muslim neighbors—whether in intentional outreach or in everyday conversations. Register HERE.
