Forgive and Live

We live in a world full of sin which regularly introduces various levels of conflict that we all must deal with. It’s not hard to get offended and become bitter and unforgiving which is the normal response of our flesh. Jesus stepped into this kind of world and showed us what real forgiveness looks like through His own sacrifice. By placing our faith in Jesus, we are completely forgiven of all our sin and made right with God. Not only do we receive forgiveness from Jesus for ourselves, but as His disciples we are called to follow His way by forgiving others when they sin against us. When Jesus taught about forgiveness, He showed us that it’s not merely an obedient action but an inward heart attitude. Therefore, we are called to walk with God in such a way where we constantly and consistently release what we have received - forgiveness!
