In a culture that encourages us to live as far above our means as possible, how we manage our personal finances can often be a source of worry, guilt, or confusion. God’s desire for us is simple, but it usually stretches our faith. Living by God’s plan won’t necessarily make you rich, but will lead you to a fulfilling, peace filled journey with God that money can’t buy. He wants us to be wise managers of all he has entrusted to us and generous givers who give in response to his great love.

We offer courses and other resources to help our church community manage their personal finances in such a way that puts God first, and that brings glory to Him as our provider including the following:

Are you suffering from unresolved grief due to major life losses that were something other than the death of a loved one? For example, loss of childhood or loss of innocence; loss of self-image, hope a major career loss; loss of limbs or functions; estrangements. We often choose to ignore many of these losses and we can get stuck. Our problem is unresolved grief. There are many books and programs available on dealing with loss and grief; most of them place their focus on recovering from "loss through death". But, loss of relationship is only one of twelve major types of losses.

What does the process look like when you deliberately choose to mourn any of the other losses? Join us for this 18-week in-depth study and process of how to mourn our losses and resolve our griefs and sorrows. Deliberately choose to mourn Life's Major Losses. In this process, you will find God's Comfort. And, in Him will be your Joy.

The cost is $25 and includes binder, handouts and expenses during the 18 week sessions. Questions? Contact Pat Farnand at patfarnand@yahoo.com.

Have you served in the military or supported a loved one from home? We invite you to join Point Man, a men’s group of active military or veterans of all ages, or Homefront, the women who served just as faithfully.

Point Man is run by veterans from all conflicts, nationalities and backgrounds. Although the primary focus of Point Man has always been to offer spiritual healing from PTSD, Point Man today is involved in group meetings, welcome home projects and community support. Just about anywhere there are vets there is a Point Man presence.

Homefront groups are led by Christian mothers, wives and friends of both active duty military and veterans. They provide an understanding ear and caring heart that only those left behind at home can understand. They have experienced the stress of dealing with deployments and the effects of a loved one returning home from war. If you have someone you love deployed or having issues readjusting since coming home, connect with Homefront!
