Every couple who makes a covenant with God and each other needs a season to prepare and grow to ensure that they begin on a solid foundation. We provide marriage classes and counsel to minister to and partner with couples before and after they are married.
May 19/20, 2017
For those planning to be married at NWC or have one of our pastors officiate the ceremony, we require that you attend a Pre-Marriage Class. Only one-third of couples in our country have any type of pre-marriage preparation, and those that do have much more success in their marriages. Invest in the future of your marriage and sign up here today!
Beginning Thursday, January 19, 7-8:30pm
As Northwest Church continues to disciple our children we would like to invite parents and grandparents to join us for the Spiritual Parenting class. Come find out how spiritual parenting could change your family. Be inspired, equipped and supported as you raise your children. This class will encourage you to depend on God for your children’s spiritual and moral development. The end goal is a vibrant faith that is passed on from one generation to another, not just developing good behavior in your children.
We will meet every Thursday during Awana for seven weeks.
The cost is $10 per person. Register here. Questions? Contact Tony Forbes at firstname.lastname@example.org or ext. 247.

Most couples with marital problems wait 6 years before seeking help. By then the task of repairing a damaged relationship can be monumental. Don’t wait. The earlier you get help, the better. Here are some ways you can work on repairing your relationship (or to simply strengthen it more):
MEET WITH A PASTOR
We care about you and want your marriage to be as great as possible. Call the office to schedule a time for you to sit down with one of our pastors.
Whether you’re facing a serious marital challenge or you just want to take your marriage from good to great, we’ve got couples who are trained to come alongside and offer a helpful hand.
We can offer some help in finding a good professional counselor whose education, training and Christian world view can help you identify and work through the marital issues you’re facing.
In addition to offering pre-marriage classes, we also regularly schedule marriage seminars and parenting classes to equip couples. We get the word out through the website, Facebook, the bulletin, etc.

LIFE TRANSFORMATION GROUPS
LTGs are groups of 2-4 people and are designed to help us grow closer to Christ as well as to be real and open with a few trusted individuals. Reading, prayer and accountability questions are a regular part of these weekly gatherings.
Life Groups, our name for home groups, are a great place to meet people, grow deeper relationships and develop our Christian faith. In addition to general groups, we have Life Groups that focus on marriages. You can find a list of our groups on the kiosks in the foyer or contact us for assistance in finding one near your neighborhood.
