Our purpose for LMI is to increase the harvest by preparing disciples who are learning to know, love and serve Jesus. As a certified ministry institute we provide foundational theological training and practical ministry experience in a local setting. Those who complete this 2- or 3-year program can become part of a church planting team, continue on with theological education or move into other leadership roles within the local church and the Foursquare family. We want those who complete the LMI program to move quickly into key leadership roles within Foursquare churches or ministries, whether as a senior pastor, as a member of a church staff or church planting team, as a missionary or as a bi-vocational minister of the Gospel.

Do you have a heart for the elderly, chronically ill, disabled or homebound?
Jonathan Ministry, based on the friendship between David and Jonathan in 1 Samuel, will allow you to form a close relationship with someone who needs your caring presence for one hour each week. Care can include prayer, Bible study, encouragement and practical needs such as assistance with food shopping. To ensure you are properly equipped for our new Jonathan Ministry you must first be a graduate of Stephen Ministry training.
Do you feel called to encourage those who are in the hospital for a short-term stay?
James Ministry, based on God’s desire for us to pray for the sick (James 5:14), will give you the opportunity to uplift someone in the hospital who has requested a visit from a believer in Christ. These periodic visits typically include encouragement, prayer and simply showing you care with your presence. To ensure you are properly equipped for our new James Ministry you must first be a graduate of Stephen Ministry training.
